What if I was visiting my Khala and Mamu in Islamabad as I have been wanting and planning to ever since my shadi
What if we all had gone for Aftari….
What if we had gone to Marriott……
And we had followed aftari with Dinner….
And then there was this big Blast….
Who would have survived….
Who would have taken care of my blog……………..


Who are these terrorist? What do they want? Why do they want to deprive us of peace of mind? Why do want to scare us so that we cannot even go for shopping for eid?

Who are the people with masks that blow themselves up? Why do they do it? Who brainwashes them? Would any sane person blow him/her self up? I know I wouldn’t. Would you?

You know I read somewhere that God does not like people who do zulm on themselves.

Are these terrorist not brothers, sons, and husbands of someone? Do they not have a heart? Does their mother cry when she finds out that her son has blown himself up?

How come that no one has ever claimed that it was his/ her son, brother, husband who blew himself? (Remember the head of the suicide bomber is always recovered and it is easily recognizable)

Some say they come from Afghanistan, some say they are RAW. I do not know.
Here a new story that has been forwarded to me. I would have liked to put the story down as it is but the narration is in Urdu and many people might not get it. So I will give a snopsot of the 2 page article. The article stated that Mr. Hafeez, a lawyer by profession was on his way to lunch when he noticed a gori holding a Pakistani baby in one hand and puffing smoke onto his face. He couldn’t resist knowing what was happening so he went up to her and asked her who she was and what she was doing here? She replied that she had come from Malta and was going to adopt this child and take the child back with her. Mr. Hafeez was shocked to say the least because being a lawyer he knew that the Pakistani Law does not allow adoptions of Pakistani babies by foreigners. He changed his lunch plan and entered the court where he saw seven other gora/ gori’s each holding a baby. He went to his colleague’s room and asked him what was all this about. The colleague having a gupshup with his other friends was irritated with his questions and tried to snub him off. But Mr. Hafeez was angered to see all of this and demanded an explanation to which his colleage said that these babies have been put forward for adaptation by a so and so NGO and these people have come forward to adopt them. Mr. Hafeez could not stand the thought of letting go of seven babies in the hands of some foreigners who would use them for child labour, child abuse, and take out their body parts and sell them or some unthinkable crime. So he said that he is willing to take adotion of all these children. The case went on for three years during which he was offered upto Rs. 3 cuore to give up the case. But Mr. Hafeez and his wife stood steadfast. During this time period he reseached and found that about 23,000/- ; yes you read it correct ….23,000/- Pakistani babies have been given up for adoption to unknown foreigners. When the address of the NGO was checked it turned out to be nothing more than a piece of land.

The author of the article,Mr. Hafeez himself, wondered what had become of all these babies. May be the unknown young individuals that blow themselves originate from here. Maybe!
